Pictures of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge from our December 14-21st, 2011 trip to Disney World. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, concierge level, and did both the sunrise safari and the Wanyama sunset safari while we were there.

The sunrise safari is only available to concierge guests at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and it is a private safari at the Animal Kingdom park before the park opens. The safari gives you more time to take pictures. Afterwards you get a rather delicious breakfast.

The Wanyama sunset safari is a ride around the animals at the Animal Kingdom lodge, followed by a dinner sampling different foods at the Jiko restaurant.
