The picture of me is several hours later after I did some cleanup. The emergency room nurse said that the bruise will eventually go lower in the face before going away.
The picture of the glasses case is the hard case I keep my glasses in. The case itself is destroyed, but the glasses inside came through ok. The prescription sunglasses that I was wearing had the left lens pop out, and it looks like it might be easy to put it back in (but even if the glasses are broken, they can be replaced).
