• At first I was using beveled cuts with 45 degree angles.

• I would glue the edges together to make the basic box and insert wooden dowels to help join the ends.

• It was hard to get each side exactly the right size.

• The box can be rather fragile in that I had several accidents where the box frame fell, and the glue fractured.

• Traveling by train to Arisia 2011, I came to the conclusion that it would be better if the camera could be disassembled and packed into a smaller suitcase for travel.
