3rd generation steampunk camera #3
In the 3rd generation, I used 1/4” plywood to on top of the oak. It extends above/below the side panels, and I cut grooves in the base and top for it to fit into. I didn't do this on the 4th generation of camera.
I broke 2 shutter release cables due to strain relief issues. I wound up drilling an opening on the bottom and left side to allow me to use the shutter release on the camera battery grip. It is more convenient to use than the shutter release.
The 3rd generation camera was first used at the Great New England Steampunk Expo in 2011.
